hi, i went to change my shower like for like but the new one seems more sensitive on the pressue light and as soon as someone uses any other cold water it goes off, ive looked and its been joined on to the toilet next door for a feed, and so thought about pump but been told that as all cold water is running through my combi boiler it will drag it through and damage boiler? so if i take a direct feed from my main water pipe before the boiler would that be best? and also if i do would push-fit be ok? any advice is apreciated cheers coz

you can't put a pump on the mains for shower anyway.
and the cold don't go through the boiler.
don't matter where you connect the shower feed providing its a mains cold.
i would check your mains pressure to see what you have.

thanks, for advice so to be clear if i give it its own supply from mains rather than feeding from toilet it may well help
cheers

no the cold mains pressure will be the same.
it will still reduce if another tap or toilet is flushed as you have a 15mm pipe feeding two appliances rather than one.

same with the taps run one tap then turn another on.

what shower is it?
