Can I just check the right way of connecting one up? got a metal faced 1 way dimmer (push button on/off). The terminals on the back are P1,P2 and ~ with an arrow thru it. Wiring circuit is black, red and earth. does the: black go to ~ (is this the common/COM?) red to either P1 or P2...

can anyone tell me how you remove the tap covers on the following type of tap? The taps are dripping, so I want to look at the ceramic cartridges and perhaps clean them up as they are only a year old (so couldn't have worn away just yet surely, more like debris inside the tap causing problems?)...

Anyone know where I can get some wrap around covers from (chrome ideally). I need to cover over a gas pipe that runs through a kitchen worktop and looks a bit ugly so thought I’d cover it up. The pipe is about 33mm wide.

Thanks Chrishutt. Replacing the taps seems a liekly option, as it took an hour to prise off just one take shield. hoe do I ensure that a replacement tap suits local hot water pressure.
