Is it possible it might only leak when he system is cold? There seemed to be nothing last night whilst the system was running but then this morning there were a few deips.
It is of course possible that the hot pipework was just evaporating the small leak before it dripped off.

I've discovered a slight drip from this drain off tail but can't see exactly where it is coming from.... all parts feel dry!
Is it worth me just trying to nip up the drain off part or is another culprit more likely? Is there any washers or other seals that can be replaced?

We have a couple of rooms with radiators and heat pump air conditioning. We currently have the radiators stuck on and heating, the air con cooling and the windows open.
Yep the new system is in and working but massively too hot.

Thanks for this. I just think that any boiler where you have to read fault codes like some sort of Morse code signal must still be using fairly old electronics.
Does the pump overrun, or lack of it, have any significance?
Ok I'm currently looking towards the Vailliant.
Reasons being that the digital display makes it easier to diagnose and fix any faults. I believe that the Baxi has some system of LED flashes which seems similar to our current Potterton.
