Hi everyone, My Miras Realm quite suddenly stopped supplying hot water. The problem could either be a blocked inlet filter or it could be a failed cartridge. What do you think is the most likely? Any help would be appreciated. Filmskate

Hi, I have a 6 litre Savoy close coupled toilet -with a Macdee Metro flush syphon in the tank. The flush is weak - have set the volume plug at 9 litres rather than 6 since it works slightly better on that setting - still not good enough though. Is there any way I could improve its performance...

S.53 did not show - there was no water shortage. The whole problem was to do with the new PCB setting (D.0 presumably set at full whack which was too much for the system. Thanks for your input.

The display doesn't show S53 - it is possible that the old PCB was set at 19kw. The fact is that now it is set to 19 the system is running very well - just so long as setting it to 19 doesn't do any damage or cost a fortune in gas

It became necessary because a new PCB was fitted . When it starts up now that the setting is at 19 it heats up gently up to the set temperature.

I don't know what the setting was before I altered it - I stupidly fiddled before checking - according to the leaflet that came with the PCB it was set to the the factory setting which was max.power.

Yes but it became erratic that's why I had a replacement PCB fitted which cured the erratic behaviour but had the slow start up. Everything is now fine with the D0 set at 19 as long as it isn't damaging anything. 19 refers to the Kilowats doesn't it?

I have just replaced a ballcock valve. I reused the fibre washer on the connector and it doesn't seem to be leaking. Is it okay to reuse a fibre washer like this, or might a leak develop in the future. Should one always change them for a new one every time a connector is opened up?

I need to instal a cooker control unit and because of the kitchen decor I can't site it near to the cooker. Does anyone know how far from the cooker is permissable? And can it be installed in the hall outsider the kitchen? - either way it would be sited about a meter from the cooker. Help...
