    Kitchen floor problem

It looks like foundations to me but then I know not a lot. There are two bits of concrete (with a bit of a red colour to them) separated by a row of brickes in the middle, the left bit of concrete is really uneven and has a layer of grey concrete over it. This was under the screed when I broke...

    Kitchen floor problem

I am just about to start doing my kitchen but have a bit of a problem with the floor which I plan to tile. The kitchen has a little coal shed on the end of it that was extended into before I moved in. Everythings fine in it apart from the floor of it which had shifted so much that the concrete...

    QUESTION....concerning URLs

Sounds like DNS servers playing up. Contact your ISP and see if there are any problems related to their default DNS servers and ask them for alternatives (a DNS server translates the address you type into the address bar into the URL 123.123.123.3 etc and then goes and finds the page).

    Belfast Sink Waste

Hi, A friend recently gave me an old Belfast sink, similar to, but a bit larger than this one: I've been looking for waste and plugs for it but can't see how any that I've seen will work because of the overflow outlet in the hole at the bottom. I would ideally like a basket strainer...

    Standard Combi or Condensing Combi

:p I'm not sure they asked you to explain yourself in such detail! Anyway, that sounds terrible. Wouldn't you make more money renting to a private tenant anyway?

Testing water pressure for new taps

Hi there, I am looking aroud for bath taps and have found some that state this on their website: "For optimum performance this range requires a high pressure water supply (1.0 bar)" How do I test this, the cold tap comes from the mains and the hot tap comes from an immersion heater/back...
