    Installing Toilet with no Drop?????

Just thinking....missus wants a more modern looking toilet. Is the height of the outlet the same on all toilets or do they vary? What about those wall hung, shallow pan type with the in wall cistern, would I get extra height with one of those (without mounting it at an unusual height...

    Installing Toilet with no Drop?????

I want to re-arrange the bathroom, but the place I want to put the Toilet is 2 metres from the soil & only allows a 1" drop. What is the minimum drop I can have or are there any solutions to this problem? Thanks!

Thanks Seco Thought that might be the case. I can do that no problem. Obviously, I'd have preferred to just lube the thing, but that's me being bone idol for the same of an hours work. Thanks again!

    Shower Valve suddenly Stiff ????

Hi Our Mira 88 valve suddenly became stiff this morning. Kids having trouble turning it. I've loosened it a bit by turning it back & forth, but I can hear a slight squeeling of metal on metal. What do I need to do? Is it just a case of lubrication & if so, what type? & do I need to...

    Shower wall Panels?????

Thanks GCOL Have you ever seen a full Bathroom done in this? I'm worried it might look tacky. I think it looks fantastic in the small areas I've seen it in, but can't picture it in a full room. Any ideas where I might get to see a full display? I'm in Merseyside so anywhere in the North...

    Shower wall Panels?????

Not sure if this should be in “Tiling” as it’s an alternative, but has anyone done a Full Bathroom in this stuff? Should I or is it batter to Tile for any reason??? Must admit, we do like the look of it. Some of it looks like solid Marble & no grout etc.., the only thing we DON’T like is...

Adding a Rad right next to another. Can I do it in Series??

Sorry guys, I must correct myself. It is 10mm, NOT 8mm So can I 'T' into the 10mm or should I make new branches off the 22mm? Thanks again!

Adding a Rad right next to another. Can I do it in Series??

Thanks chaps Just taking a closer look, putting in T's for the new Rad might be tricky. The existing Rad is T'd off 22mm with unequal T's (22mm through with 15mm coming off) this is then immediately reduced to 8mm. If I sweat out the 8mm reducer & branch off in 15mm instead, can I then...

Adding a Rad right next to another. Can I do it in Series??

Hi We've extended the Bathroom. Between the old & new part there is a Pier. I want to add another Rad, which will be side by side with the first, just separated by this pier. Only 2 feet apart (or 4 feet to centres). Question is, can I plumb the new Rad in Series with the 1st, IE take...

Is MDF OK for Tiling over?????

Thanks Richard I will add Screws. Am I supposed to Seal the Ply before Tiling? I'm thinking I should make double sure it is sealed properly just in case the stuff I've already put down isn't WBP.

Is MDF OK for Tiling over?????

Eeek, I'm hoping what I've already put down is WBP, it's nailed every 5 inches. How do I tell?
