Cheers for the reply. Can i use both appliances at once if i tee off the cold feed with the self cutting tap?

I know this is an old post but will a self cutting tap affect the flow to both the Dishwasher and washing machine if both on together, or should you only use one at a time?

sorry i should have been clearer. I know how to plumb it in. I want to tee off the existing cold feed for the washing machine to feed both the WM and the DW. Plus my wast outlet consists of two upright pipes which feeds into one pipe. Is one of these a breather pipe for the washing machine...
