There is a rotary nut type fitting on the hob piping but there is nothing for this to screw onto. Should there be an elbow type fitting with a female thread and washer in the box. I want to connect onto 10mm copper. Please advise .
Thanks Mike
There is a rotary nut type of connection on most hobs. Is it ok to loosen this and realign to suit direction of pipe feed. If so would you need to put some gas seal paste on it to get a proper seal. I am qualified but just starting out.
Thanks
Mike
What range of fittings do i need to bring to install a hob. Will probably be using 10mm copper tube. I have heard there are different types connectiuon points to hobs. Please advise on whether fittings are male or female also.
Thanks Michael
The only reason i didnt answer it, was it kind of went over my head as i was focussing on the wall connector. This was the thing i am trying to source. I know the different hose standards or at least i know where to get them. Anyway after all that i never got my wall connector sourced.
One last time the lpg cooker hose i have is made in uk to bs669 part 1 with red stripe and is a COOKERFLEX and sold on www.bes.co.uk as part of their lpg cooker kit [/img]
