Evening all I'm looking to replace a old double radiator with no convectors in my bedroom 1438mm x 450mm. Want to replace it with a 1400mm x 400mm Vogel & Noot double panel, double convector. I want to replace the standard rad valve with a trv. Will i have to drain down the whole system...

thank you all for your advise. I drained and flushed my system out at the start of the summer. There wasn't much sludge in the system anyway. Was going to fit one before we had a new boiler fitted to cause less problems in the futute.
