Anyone have a useful answer so that when I call a gas safe engineer I have an idea. Used to be a bathroom fitter for many years plumbed rewired pretty much built my house but I know I cannot touch gas which is why I am looking for help.
Hi
I am having two separate issues with this not very good boiler. The first is it cuts out and won't fire even though temperature has not been reached on the thermostat. It does this after it has been running for a while and rads are hot. Could it be a thermo cut out as it gets too hot?

I am doing some work for a customer but i am at a bit confused why i have no water in a loft conversion and i am looking for some ideas.
Customer has a cloakroom in the loft extension. They have a monoblock tap on the sink which don't give good flow at best of times, however, i have no hot...

Bathrooms are not a problem for me but the ins and outs of house...
Please can someone advise if i am able to use marmox board straight onto 22mm chipboard flooring using flexi floor cement?
Should i also screw down or will cement be sufficient?

I am fitting a bathroom and want to canvas opinion on whether this is possible.
Customer lives in a bungalow and has one wc (separate sewerage to bath/shower waste water). I have pulled the floor up and have found a large radius bend below the floor which comes straight up through the...
Thanks fellas for advice . only problem with doing gas is having the knowledge of all the boilers (fixing etc). I imagine this does not happen overnight!
I am considering looking at installing unvented cylinders and was hoping someone could give me a bit of info.
I mainly do bathrooms and odd plumbing jobs but generally this does not involve cylinder work with the exception of putting flanges onto vented systems for pumps etc.
Looking to...
