Turns out the fuel tank had become loose and was banging off something. The brackets where tight and a gap was between them and the tank. assume rubber had fallen off so just put some pvc in and noise has gone. This has to be unusual. Any ideas what would have caused it.

Turns out the exhaust heat protection cover had a clip broke. It had bend in prob from water spray and was close to it so was the exhaust banging off it. quick prod with the brush pushed it away so will stay away from those large puddles from now on.
