3 amp fuse in FCU for boiler

If you accept that it would be reasonable/safe to have a single point of isolation for the CH system and that Honeywell (for one) advocate the use of 3A fuses for their programmers and room stats, why do anything else? Regards

3 amp fuse in FCU for boiler

If you consider that the FCU to a boiler is meant to be the single point of isolation for the central heating system which includes the boiler, ancillary wiring, pump, room thermostat etc - often wired in 0.75mm² or 1mm² then perhaps this argument can go away. Regards

    Inflammable

If you think of the original word as 'inflame' and then 'inflame-able' then the 'in' part begins to make more sense...................but confusing in a way that innocuous and nocuos are not

    Room Stat

When you turn the thermostat temperature up beyond the existing room temperature, the switch changes from its rest position 1 connected to 4 to 1 connected to 3. Neutral is connected to 2. In randomly swapping 2 & 3 you may have blown either the CH programmer or boiler PCB or both. Pin 4 is...

Permanent live cable - what to do with it

If practical, you could chop in a back box, terminate the cable with Wago connectors (or similar) and fit a blanking plate after leaving a note inside to indicate that the cable ends are live. Regards

The CE mark, is it still required?

Love the way that those who dare to disagree with remain are called 'ignorant', 'bigoted' or 'racist'. What you are unaware of is (ignorant) that the majority of Brexiters DID NOT vote to leave because they are racist, they DID NOT to leave vote because they are working class, ill educated...

The CE mark, is it still required?

The silent majority has had over forty years putting up with the spoutings of people like you BAS - this is democracy at work and you will have to learn to live with it - it's the same system that we have lived under for the last forty years. It is not about racism ( though the BBC is doing its...

    Notifiable work ??

I do not understand why the good people on this forum continue to let Hassle Bland abuse people in this way. If this were to take place on another forum, it might result in the perpetrator's removal. The number of posts and aggression indicate to me that the person responsible is probably ill...
