Hi there,

I have a Centercyl HE85 DHW tank to fit. I have also bought a Warix outlet for it as I understood it can't take Suffolk flanges and I have a pumped shower I want to retain.

I thought the threaded water outlet was in a boss and could be removed to fit the Warix outlet. Problem is that the outlet is a direct part of the cylinder, welded on.

Any suggestions as to how I can fit a Male threaded Warix connection to this outlet?

Would a threaded sleeve with some good old LSX work?

As the shower outlet pick up would then be 2 to 3 inches higher up the tank, should I extend the pipe by the same amount so that it picks up the water from around the same point in the DHW cylinder

Many thanks for taking the time to give me some advice.

Andy

The Center Cyl has albion type compression connections which makes them unsuitable for Warix & Surrey's. The 120 has its own shower tapping but not the 85. You can just save the flange & alter the outlet pipe work to a 45 angle, then simply tee off downward for the shower. All you need to achieve is that air bubbles rise to vent and not to the shower pipe.
