I have a toaster, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, kettle in our kitchen and utility room. (House is centrally heated)
2 adults 2 children
There is only one ring final circuit in our house. I have never had an overload issue in the 11 years I have been here.

Anybody who does notifiable work under the auspices of a Building Notice is mentally deficient.

Why?
Because it has no rewards but does have significant risks.

It saves not one penny in LABC fees but leaves you not guaranteed of a Building Regulations completion notice and leaves you exposed to the risk of doing something wrong which would have been picked up, FOC, by Building Control before you screwed up if you'd made a full plans submission.
