After having some bursts repaired the plumber was not able to refill the boiler as the key had been lost. I have now bought a new key, filled the system, bled the radiators, they all heat up, but the boiler pressure gauge is showing no pressure. Could there be an air-lock somewhere? What do i need to do?

Did you recharge/ fill the system again after venting/bleeding the rads?

I'd have checked the expansion vessel pressure before refilling aswell.

Sounds very technical, how do i do that? Thanx.
But, having re-checked the pressure gauge i thought was on zero, on closer inspection it has gone all the way round the dial to 4.something. how do i lower the pressure?
