Iona Boiler Lockout

You also seem to have ignored the point about the oil pressure.

Although measuring that is less relevant if you are using a flue gas analyser.

Is there a way to measure that pressure without a meter of some sort?
And is that necessary if the nozzle is the same as the one which was removed?

No ........... its not necessary .......... Thats why we keep going on about it!!

FFS ... It will cost about £100.00 to get your boiler serviced and with your attempts you could be damaging a perfectly good boiler

Agile ............ tell me how the flue gas analyser replaces measuring the oil pressure ......... Shall we do away with gas pressure at gas boilers as the flue gas analyser will let you know ..........

What a load of rubbish ....... dont pontificate about what you know very little about

I did not say that an FGA measurement "replaces" the oil pressure measurement!

Only that its LESS relevant ( because its then confirmed the boiler is burning correctly ).

This is totally irrelevant though because anyone with an FGA is going to have a pressure gauge anyway. ( The nozzle size and pressure together determine the power input. ).
