Suprima 50 boiler issues

Im after a little bit advice about a suprima 50 boiler, I've just bought a house with his boiler fitted, it's caused a couple of issues by triping roughly every week and flashing red, this would always reset, now the boiler is indicating is ready but it will not run the pump next to my tank so the boiler will not ignite.
I'm in the process of calling out a plumber, but would like a little more info before hand.

these are notorious for PCB faults, the earlier PCB was completely upgraded and the installation of the upgrade requires changing the wiring harness, if yours still has the origionall its highly likely this will need replacing

I dont think it's been touched since the boiler was originally fitted, I've done some research and it seems a common problem, ill call some one out to replace it.
