Evening guys.

Can you use block set paving bricks as building bricks?
Only want to build a shed/work shop and they are dirt cheap second hand at the moment.

I know there aren’t any holes or frogs for the cement to key to but there shouldn’t be much strain on the the structure.

Any in sight would be appreciated.

Thanks. Dominic

Frogs and holes aren't there to key into, they save on materials, weight and hence transport costs. No reason why not to use blocks they are just another type of brick/block

Will oil be an issue for the cement adhesion? The ones I’ve seen are manly patio or paths so should avoid oil
