Tile question

I've noticed a tile on our roof that isn't laying flat like the others. It's lifted slightly at the bottom and side leaving a small gap. There seems to be a slight bow in the roof and this tile is at the edge of it.
Questions are : is this tile a problem? There's no leak in the loft. I'm scared if I get someone out to look at it they're going to say the roof needs replacing because of the slight bow. Our loft is full of stuff and I'm guessing we would have to empty the whole loft to have the roof replaced? The thought of having to do that leaves me in a cold sweat!
My kids say they can't even see the wonky tile. My neighbour days it's nothing to worry about (he couldn't see it either until I pointed it out). My partner says it should be looked at just in case and I'm getting ahead of myself by assuming we'll need a new roof.
Is one slightly lifted tile a problem?

Ooh weird! The pictures are showing on my tablet.
 
Probably vegetation growing under the tiles and lifting them by the look of it. A clear out of moss wouldn't do any harm.
 
Will it matter that the tile is lifting? Do I need to get someone to sort it out?
 
It could be
1/ the top left of the tile is damaged
2/ Tile batten has rotted allowing top of tile to settle in
3/something is stopping the tile sitting corectly
4/ it was never seated properly in the first place.

get someone to take a look , access is ladder easy. might take a few minutes and you'll have peace of mind
 
On a positive note, you don't need to empty the loft when they replace all the roof tiles. (y)

On a separate issue, your eaves felt is rotten, and the gutter and soffit needs sorting out, and these do need doing
 
What is eaves felt? That's reassuring if I don't need to empty the loft if the roof needs replacing. I hope it doesn't come to that though!
I guess I was hoping someone would say the tile is no problem then I needn't worry about it any more
 
The tiles (Marley Major) look fine , gauge appears reasonable
No reason to think you need a new roof.
What isa bit strange is the bottom three courses of tiles appear different. main field area look like granular where as bottom three look smooth.

Possibly these have been removed in the past... maybe to replace some of the felt at gutter level.

you just need to get a guy to jump up and put the tile right... I shouldn't cost an arm and a leg..

cut back on the Gin for a couple of weeks and you will have saved enough :)

Soffits damaged though
what part of the country are you in?
 
Wales. What would happen if we don't fix the tile?.

The soffits have been like that since the house was re-rendered a few years ago. They tucked the aerial cables behind them I think.
Yes the bottom tiles are different. They'd changed those before we moved in.
