I have a flat roof, the fascia boards will end up being 600mm plus the arris rail. Anyone have any other ideas other than fascia now that I can’t build up the outer skin. I have a bedroom over a car port with ship lap board(if that’s what it’s called) was wondering if anyone has ever done 4 or 5 rows of that other than fascia ‍♂️

You can use shiplap, but will need a firm timber backing.

I'd be inclined to do whatever was necessary to alter it to something less awfull than 600mm of fascia - including angling the fascia to follow the roof, if possible.

It would have looked better with smaller nails, IMO.
Everyone of those glazing studs (x30) had to be drilled through two layers of steel. The ply had to have 30 holes as did the Cedral. That balcony is one of the most Labour intensive things I've ever had to build.

:eek:How do you end up with a 600mm deep fascia:?:
7.5m long extension, fall has to go front to back. So firings were 200mm, 10 inch joists to match existing house because will be doing a second storey in the future. Warm deck with 100mm insulation. 18mm osb and 18mm top deck

At the moment my joists overhang by 25mm which would have been the return leg of the fascia. So if I screw 18mm ply to the joists I will then have an overhang of 43mm so if I use shiplap as in the photo what would I do with the 43mm underside?

If you are still building it, why can't you build the brickwork up and have a normal sized fascia?
