Its causes viral pneumonia of which there is no medication. Essentially if you are strong and fit you should be able to fight it off, if your an old guy, you might not be so lucky.

Antibiotocs will not work in this situation.

Many hundreds of people die each year in the UK due to the annual winter flu. I don't see anyone panicking over it.

Indeed i am concerned it's either being downplayed or over hyped by a bored load of Press with no main stories currently, until some other over testosterone charged idiot steps up.

When tracing my family tree I discovered we lived in a Rutland village right back to the 1400's & didn't leave there till the 1920's. The plague period seemed to take 40%ish but Spanish flu wiped out nearly 75% of my grandfathers relatives ?
