Not a fan of derek but Afterlife is probably the best thing Ricky Gervais has written. Watched it about 4 times now.
The Brothers Grimsby is on there at the moment. Very funny.

I've only just watched the Hunger games (I, II) because I'm reading the trilogy. Read the book - watch the film.
Our local butcher had a sign up when Watership down was on. 'Read the book, seen the film, now eat the cast' :)

The last film I tried to watch was Chris Morris's 'The day shall come'. Except I got bored and turned it off. Shame, after four lions, I was really looking forward to it. Am not a big film watcher, sorry Bodd, can't advise but I do like to binge watch a good series.

I watched 6 underground, Ryan Reynolds, so not sure if it's a comedy or not, but worth a watch, well OTT. I sometimes spend 10-20 minutes looking for a film. "3 days to kill" and "A walk among the tombstones" are 2 I've seen lately, pretty good, John Wick films are OK, all the ones I've mentioned are pretty similar, plus the Taken ones.
Yes 6 underground, obviously threw a sh't load of money at it for effects, opening car scene was a hoot, all a bit James Bond, but the film flowed a bit like 'now you see me' no soul to it. I still envy that shot of Ryan Reynolds getting that in the sack that was so fit.

Prison Break ......if you have 300 hours to watch it!!...bizarrely addictive

Hacksaw ridge, lone survivor and prisoners all good films, but they are bit gory in parts.

2 recent films on Netflix I'm sure you'll enjoy

'6 days' Action film about the Iranian embassy siege,
'7 days in Entebbe.' Action film about the rescue of Israeli hostages in Entebbe.

Both of the above have my personal five star rating.

Oh, and if it's still on there, 'The Big Short' ,which is about the several groups who made millions from credit default swaps during the banking collapse. It goes into very concise detail about the financial crash, who lost, who gained.
Sounds boring I know, trust me, it's not.
