It can happen, its probably due to a small ridge on the very corner of the frame ( from when it was welded together ) pushing the post away , normally you'd line it up first and check and gently remove said ridge before screwing it all together but sometimes it gets missed. hopefully there is silicone between the post and the frame when it was all connected together , but you could just fill that gap with some white silicone , or if so inclined get a 20mm white edgeing fillet trim and cover the entire join for peace of mind
