Hi all, please see photo

I got a a LAP floodlight from screwfix but it didn't come with anything... no instructions or anything.

Can anybody tell me what type of gland i need on the back for the cable?

Return it and get one that has all the parts and instructions included.
Clearly things missing from that one.

The wife threw out the box ‍♂️ hopefully there is a gland I can buy from somewhere

I don't think you'll find the bits you'll need. Buy another unit and keep what you have as a spare for when the first one goes. Mine lasted about 6 months.

LAP are absolute dung. But what you are looking for is supplied in the box. I know as someone bought some of those awful units for me to fit.

Steinel is amazing as mentioned - but extremely expensive. (That said, the unit linked to above is very modestly priced. Many Steinels are £200+VAT.)

Collingwood or Robus are a good bet.

Was going to say, if you have not got the box for the existing anymore, then buy another, extract the bits you need, then return for a re-fund. "No mate, just a refund please, it was for my aunt's house* miles away and I had to get one locally and pay wickes prices...."

* Essential maintenance for security reasons, naturally

@Adam_151 that’s maybe why the OP’s box was short of parts!

hahaha! Thats exactly whats happend I guess!

I couldn't bring myself to do it tbh.

I will buy one of those better brands I think.

Is LAP ok for plug sockets, spurs etc??? I use those things fairly often.

ALSO,

is there a way to fit these in series so when 1 pir detects, they all light up?????? maybe I need a different post for this question?
