Time for a tank fill, 32p / litre which I think is pretty good.....800 litres, pressure jet burner.
I'm offered Glowmax - which I presume is some sort of additive - for the same price so have gone for it.
Any comments on the performance of this stuff?
Thanks
John :)

Snake-oil. I've heard of far more people having problems with it, than having good outcomes

Thanks for your reply- I'd more or less come to the same conclusion but I sure hope it won't do any harm!

Glomax was the preferred fuel for Aga's by the manufacturers. It offers reduced carbonising on vaporising burners. It will make no difference to your pressure jet burner, except it may have greater lubricity than standard kerosene.

That's the theory anyway, but there are plenty of forums online where people are complaining that switching to Glowmax has caused their previously fully functional AGA / Rayburn to soot up within a few days of the delivery. I'd stay away from it personally
