Ghosts - only ever seen by people when they are tired, usually at night, and, sleepy...
Big foot - only ever seen by people out in the wilderness, tired, hungry, dehydrated, sleepy ...
Angels - like ghosts, but only seen by more imaginitive people
Aliens - only seen at night, mostly by stoned Americans who used to see angels and ghosts
God - never seen by anybody, but felt by those who are likely tired, hungry, desperate ...
Cake - seen by people, tasted, nourishing, brings people back from the brink of death, very real. Very useful.
Beleive in cake.
