Bon Voyage to me

Yes its quite a drag from port to Rome and takes a large chunk out of Rome time. In port last September but as been in Rome a couple of times stayed in port and looked around the town and the famous kissing sailor, fellow travellers say it was a bit rushed to get around Rome to see the sights, better off having a few days there with lots of leisure time

Yeah, we've been to Rome on a separate 3 day trip before and we’ve been on 3 cruises that have had Rome as an excursion from Civitavecchia and each time we've chose to stay onboard. It’s a long day. Every time, those that have been on it come back knackered and feeling like they've done a hard days work!

Speaking to one of the passengers today and they said that there isn’t a bar in the Colosseum so sod that. We will hang with the locals in the bars around port.

Agreed mate. We are staying put in Civitavecchia

Plus the kissing sailor sounds interesting and as an ex kissagram myself I am a bit tasty.
