Bon Voyage to me

Corsica was amazing. Beautiful churches and buildings. We loved it, we got involved with a lot of locals in the bars and they made us very welcome and we had a fab time.

Some pics for you all to see how great it is if you have never visited Corsica.

Saw Napolian’s house . Wasn’t up to much tbh and much preferred mine to his.

Be setting off in an hour to Italy. Rome tomorrow and Lena is going off with her personal shopper and dropping me at a bar so I will be happy.

Reputedly, the yellowish colour of official buildings in Europe was chosen by an Emperor who called his pastrycook up from the kitchens to add egg yolks to flour until it reached the colour he wanted.

Ships log as of 4.53. We are putting to sea and are heading towards Italy for our two final destinations. Loved Corsica and Corsica loved me. Very happy and so glad we are travelling in a suite. It’s rich and luxurious but that is just us anyway.

The building colours are amazing. Some look like they could do with a refresh but the majority are actually the yellow of eggs.

Sun setting. Beautiful view from our private deck area. I might print this one so that the other passengers can see what the view from a suite is like. I just wouldn’t want to come accross as a show off or anything.
