Hi . I just serviced a Boulters Camray 5 150/200. I always first run it for a minute to check if it starts ok etc before I start and sounded ok.
Quite a bit of carbon on the baffles, just presumed not seen a service in years. Nozzle and blast tube looked ok.
Written in marker on the side panel was the nozzle (1.25x 60 x W) @ 165 psi set up.
So after cleaning all out replaced the nozzle with same and checked pressure and just under 170psi. Adjusted back to 165 and All sounded ok.. Done smoke test and then combustion test - 11.7%co2 co5ppm 32.2 Ex air, 95.3% efficient ..External Flue temp 114deg C ?? Waited a bit but stayed at that and boiler up to temp. I thought this a bit low for such a big boiler. What s the chances of it condensing (Camray - non condenser) and corrodeing . ?
Looking tonight at old manuals of similar Btu boilers looks like the nozzle is under sized and the high psi is trying to make up for it ?
Does any one have a manual for this Camray 5 150/200 . should I go back and change it.? To what? Client says house is fine and warm.

Just dug out my old commissioning data for 150/200
Mid range (50kw) nozzle 1.50 x 60° W 130psi
11.5 co2 flue gas at test point 225/235C
That's for kero.
Even on lowest output it says 1.35 x60° W nozzle at 120psi 11co2 and 210/220 flue temperature
So your flue temperature look very low .

Do you think the flue temp is unusually lower even with it only being 0.1 size off the lowest nozzle and with higher oil pressure. , If I change the nozzle to the 1.35 output, Should I also be looking for some another fault. ?
