It's not about "Brits abroad in danger".

It's about whether Brits who go abroad to avoid paying tax here should remain Brits.

A fair tax regime for ex pats would avoid the need to remove nationality status
 
I've not suggested any compulsory removal of citizenship - it would be entirely voluntary, and linked to an equally voluntary decision to no longer pay UK tax.
