Some things will alter and change, some quicker than others. The ability to travel great distances in space won't. It's far to hostile and humans are far too fragile.

Interstellar travel for humanity is in theory possible, eg. Generation ships. But it's so far off being practical it's science fiction more than reality. Mars landings are just engineering and money.

You expect tests to succeed, not fail.

The mechanics and logistics of people going to Mars and back are known. Whether solutions to the mechanical and logistical problems are well formed enough to have the same level of confidence, I don't know.
