I went from VSOP to Vodka for that very reason, suffered too much with acid afterwards
 
Still not experienced any daytime cruising yet. Went to sleep in Tenerife, woke up to Gran Canaria. Ship not leaving till 11.30 tonight, be in Lanzarote when we wake up tomorrow. Food great, Mrs Mottie gets the menus for all the restaurants a day in advance, chooses the meals she wants and they are prepared gluten free especially for her. The show tonight was fantastic. Met a couple of TV ladies on the stairs, Teresa and Anita from Gogglebox. :mrgreen:

Might see a bit of cruising today - that’ll be nice! Ship casting off very soon. Would have left earlier but two people hadn’t made it back to ship. They did, just in time and got a big cheer from everyone.

Went to a market today and bought some bits n bobs. Nothing we couldn’t have bought off Dagenham Sunday market though. Eating at a speciality restaurant on board tonight and may catch the late show in the theatre if we’re still awake at 10.00!

Sea day tomorrow so a nice relaxing day at sea. Gibraltar on Tuesday. Here we go, pilots giving us a push’ we’re off!

Last full port day today. Malaga. Gibraltar yesterday, a bit of a dive, I thought. Might get an open top bus today and hop on and off if we see anything that needs a better look. This week has flown by.
 
Malaga. What a beautiful place. Open top bus ride. Got off at some castle up on a hill, took a pic of our ship in the port (our one is right at the back) and a bull fighting ring! Went to the old town and walked through the harbour back to the ship from there. What a slog that was!

Leaving Malaga soon. Sea day tomorrow and then off at Palma on Friday. Marella much better than P&O. Oh well, better get ready for dinner. My current view.
