I’m gradually replacing my white light switches with brushed steel ones. I’ve already changed several single switches without any problems, but I recently decided to replace the hallway light switch, which is controlled from both ends of the hallway.

The switch by the front door is a double switch, as it also operates the outside light. I connected the wires to the new switch in the same configuration as the old one, although the layout on the new switch is slightly different.

Since wiring it up, the issue I’m having is that the switch at the other end of the hallway no longer works at all. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

One switch is upside down to the other one 1778849038610.png see red line dividing the switch, the Com 1 and Com 2 are important. The red circles 1778849255054.png show the two-way switch wiring, the L11 and L12 can be swapped over, but the com must be correct.
