Couple of boiler changes and you'll soon get that back, then Rachel Reeves will take it back off you.![]()

Well, that was a waste of money. They turned up (genuine Yale ones, allegedly), looked 'bulky' and the chrome could have been better. They came with 40mm square rods that had to be cut to size (mine were 15mm) so I cut the first one down, fitted it and Mrs Mottie said no, no, no, no, no! Refitted the original handle and chucked the cut down one in the bin. I make her right though, they did look crap. They weren’t expensive, just over a fiver each plus postage but not worth the aggro of sending the other two back - by the time I’d paid the postage I’d be lucky to get a fiver back.3 chrome handles to replace the white handles on our bathroom windows.

White with white handles. The paint had started to come off of the most visible handle so I thought I might as well change them all to chrome to match all the other chrome fittings in the bathroom. I ended up swapping the chipped handle with one that had hardly been used and wasn’t in view which was covered by a blind. I should have done that in the first place!Hardly seems worth doing ?
What colour were the windows
