Abnormally high UK temperatures continue

And you would think they would be all for A/C as they are made with soft fabric exterior and filled with cushioning materials.

I might look into installing now you've said.
Highly recommend it, saves you dying in a heatwave

My beer (from freezer) in it's glass (from freezer) is 1.7 degrees. Temperature differential of 24 degrees compared to the outside air here in Yorkshire. It's important to remain hydrated and keep core body temperature regulated during a heatwave.

If it's larger then carry on but real ale should be 12.7 degrees precisely.
Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Says the bloke who stands in a bucket in a breeze (with cold drinks on tap) , before wimping off to an air-conditioned house (y)
It is my way of doing things for myself, I have protected my life as I feel I am worth the small investment.

If you think that is dumb, then so be it but it is the truth. your average pensioner could get help for air con installed into their house and you only need one unit in one room to use as your cool room. Nothing dumb about it.
"Life is tough and some people just need to toughen up." is the part I called dumb.

Dealing with the problem is something else altogether.
I just checked quickly - it looks pretty tortuous to get A/C grants though it's changing, and wouldn't suit many.

Earlier in the thread you were denying that heat kills people.
And that you knew, and others didn't understand.
Again, not wise.
