Abnormally high UK temperatures continue

The omega block. Wasn't quite as hot as this heatwave, although about 2000 people died for heat related issues.
yes of course they did. and what about holiday makers? are you suggesting now looking for holidays around 20 degrees in case of dying?

You mistake natural phenomena for these fairytales. I don't mock you for being so nieve, but you do at some stage have to think for yourself and not rely on looking up to these self professed nutjobs who are lining their pockets with their tales of woe.
Lining their pocketss? You act like this is something new and unexpected. I started human influenced climate change in the 90s, and it was already well establised then.

The facts, the evidence, call it what you want, have been strikingly clear for many decades now.

The real questions we need to ask, and I think I said this the last time we had this discussion, is how to cope with the human migration crisis.

Trump and co won't admit that the influx of people into the US isn't because America is just so incredibily awesome, but because already huge swathes of land that were once rich agricutlural areas have been in drought for years.

I believe Russia's invasion of Ukraine is also climate related - Ukraine is a huge producer of grain that is used to feed people all over Europe and Africa - control that at a time when fields are either burning or drowning, and you have huge influence over your enemies ...

Everything is changing, it has been he case for a long time already.

But maybe you're right, and every summer is like this. And every winter sees rain in Antarctica too.
