Filly disagrees with the UN.They didn't. Of the 800,000 Arabs who left Palestine only a quarter of that number were forced out. The bulk left on the advice of Jordan, Syria et al who advised them to leave for their own safety, promising them they could return once the Arab nations destroyed Israel.
And he's unable to present credible supporting evidence for his claim.
What a surprise !
If only Israel hadn't expelled the best part of 1,000,0000 Palestinians from Palestine in 1948.
And continued irs persecution of Palestinians ever since.
The Nakba—Arabic for "catastrophe"—refers to the mass displacement and dispossession of Palestinians during the 1948 Arab-Israeli war. Approximately 750,000 Palestinians were expelled or fled from their homes, hundreds of villages were destroyed, and a significant portion of Palestinian society was permanently uprooted to establish the State of Israel.
So Israel allowed them to go back? After the 12 month 1948 war against Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt and Iraq, Israel won.
And rebuilt the villages they had destroyed?
Did they ****! They destroyed the villages to prevent the return of the Palestinians.
