    cooker hood wiring route

Thanks for replay. I usually notch the noggin as it doesn't raise out from plasterboard surface. I can get it up (steady on I mean the cable) to top of unit , but its how to get it to the hood as it would be a inverted L shape and would fall fowel of the law. So its getting from switch . Up...

    cooker hood wiring route

Connection from cooker circuit sounds ok as its just controlling 2 ovens that are on a 32 rdc ., but the work for channels would be much. It has 2 double noggins and a single, to go through as well as taking cupboard off, Was thinking about making a hidden safe zone. From a fcu straight up...

    cooker hood wiring route

Of course its a full plug. A plug top is just a usless piece of plastic. It was the full lot.. with pins as well . Think that's why he wants it taking up into loft as it will go up the side in the safezone, then into loft and down to behind hood. Its getting vented via loft then externally...

    cooker hood wiring route

Hob is gas and the supply is under the hob. It would be easier to take it right up middle to the flex outlet. And for a fcu fitted nxt to hob socket. Think he wants to make cash or put me off fitting cable.

Hi . Spark wired kitchen about 2 month ago. I told him I was going to put a hood up but didn't have it yet. As per pic you can see the cable he rolled up at top right, this goes to a trailing socket, he said I should just put plug top on and connect it to it ( wire going accross wall.) I...

    venting cooker hood

Thanks for replying john. I think this can be done with just using a hammer drill and brick drill bit. Drill lots of small holes in a circle then use a bolster I was going to get a vent kit with flexible pipe but think ridged would be better as it won't collect condensation
