I’m having this canopy installed and want to have two downlights and a PIR. Do I need any special downlights for outdoors or any indoor downlight such as the Ansell Prism that I use indoors is fine ?

On my last reroof the roofer did not use the right gap for the gutters and are quite close to the tiles so there is no space for a hedgehog. Is that a concern or shall I not worry about it.

The CU is inside a cabinet that is not very much used. I think what the previous electrician did was to fill the space with silicone of the cables entering the plastic CU compartment.

I’m having an EICR in one of the rentals. Do I need to cover these cables that are coming out of the CU? It has passed its previous EICR.

Sorry there is a catch he is also making me a porch canopy for £1200!! I know it’s not cheap but I would pay at least £300 for a plastic one. I bargained the lead but I have to go for the canopy so total £1500. Hopefully I won’t need anything else on this house until I die !!
