I'm getting a new central heating system installed as part of a Gov freebie but I'm concerned the new radiators that are being fitted aren't as good as the ones they're removing? The old ones look better (bigger, double insides?) - am I overthinking this? Ta!

I've had my internal walls insulated and now my blinds are all too big. They're quite nice so figured I'd just cut them to fit. They're metal top and wooden slats. Is this an ok tool to use...

This is a plasterboard ceiling in a small bathroom with a set of blinds. I’ve tried repairing previously with normal wall filler but hasn’t lasted very long. Any better solutions? Thanks!

Most of my exterior walls are now looking a little messy. They were only painted a couple of years ago. Is there anything I can do or do they just need painting again?!

The visual oil measuring thing on my oil tank is useless - it's impossible to see where the level is. Do they cloud up over time? Can this be replaced relatively easily?

I have an old barn/dairy attached to my house (the dark grey wall at one end is the house - the light grey at the other end has a field up against it up to about waist height - hence the foliage I guess!) It's watertight and has electricity (of sorts). If I want to do something with it I guess...

No it's still blocked. It's about a drainpipe size and runs under a farm track. I'll look into what gully scoops are! Cheers.

I have a gully out the front of the house which is overflowing. I've put my hand in and it feels like it's full of soil. I can't get any more out but it's still blocked. I've tried a hose pipe but no good. Do I need to hire/buy some drainage rods? Any tips appreciated.

Yeah I did wonder about that. The rust means water right? The cables pull in and out really easy which can’t be good. Will look at replacing the junction boxes too. Ta.

Fair enough. However I’m planning to install it up high in the barn rafters so will never be used by anything other than the camera.
