TRV a bit close to the wall - any ideas please?

Hi Ive put a radiator on the wall but am about an inch close to the wall as the valve is sticking out - (2 × 2" valves either side). Can anyone suggest a way around it? I cant seem to fint shorter ( narrower) valves which would probably do the trick.

Acceptable bends for waste water which doesnt need rodding

Hi guys Happy New Year...!! The building project is almost at an end. We're still dealing with the waste from the bathroom and our builder was on about bringing the waste water out to an inspection chamber which is fine. The only problem is when the utility and bathroom grey waste (shower sink...

External radon pipe - can I just cap it off?

From experience all plans (extensions new builds etc) ask for radon sumps as standard down this way. We dont need a pump just the sump with a vent pipe as installed. Will vent off properly to make sure its right

External radon pipe - can I just cap it off?

Yeah we're in Cornwall where radon is apparently quite high. As said Im not trying to circumnavigate the system its more the radon pipe being in the way of other pipes.

40mm shower waste to external 110mm waste

Hi Yeah there is a stack pipe further in (connecting the main waste from the house). We had to bring this 40mm one out as the joists were running the wrong way for us to be able to connect. The other 110mm pipe is tge radeon pipe so ignore that one

External radon pipe - can I just cap it off?

Hi Currently the pipe is connected to the sump at one end - can I just cap it off at the other rather than venting? I know I can stick a vent on it and thats fine but I would need to elbow off and run a bit before vented so I thought just capping it would be easier?

Building Regs and changes in directions for waste pipe

Hi Guys, Probably a really stupid question but I thought I would ask - Ive got a 40mm waste pipe coming outside through my wall which I plan to drop down the wall. As I understand it I need to make all changes in direction roddable. Is it sufficient putting a tee on the pipe and then just...

40mm shower waste to external 110mm waste

Thanks again guys. Can I just check Ive taken a picture of the building as you can see where I have circled 1 is the main 110mm soil waste which goes under the house. Am I correct in thinking I need to put an inspection chamber here as the waste will be changing direction? And then as you see...

40mm shower waste to external 110mm waste

Its roughly about 2.5 meters - gully would work (guessing thats ok with waste water from shower)? There will be a soil pipe running across underneath so if I could drop the waste in somewhere (maybe) jobs a gooden.

40mm shower waste to external 110mm waste

Hi guys We had to drill our 40mm shower waste outside to run down to connect it to the main 110mm underground waste. Currently the 40mm pipe is just sticking out the wall - do I / can I just run the 40mm pipe down the wall and connect it to the 110mm soil stack underground (with an inspection...
