Okay thanks a lot for your help. I'm just trying to fathom out if my micropipe is 8mm or 10mm. Speedfit 10mm stop ends are easy to come by but 8mm speedfit stop ends i can see being difficult to get hold off.

Are speedfit stopends reliable? What bar pressure will the stopends be holding? I don't want to wake up in the morning for there to be water everywhere :(

Removing it for now but when new doorway has been established - i will then be putting it in another part of the hallway

Thanks man I thought that just wanted someone else's opinion. Do they do stop ends that are smaller as the dead legs are micro pipe. Can i just crimp the ends?

Hello all We are having building work done in our hallway and wish to remove a radiator completely to replace with a door entry. After draining the system down and removing the radiator and pipe where should i 'cap' it off to? What can i use? Jibbs

Ok thanks for the advice. When laying the plywood (whatever option), should i leave a 10mm gap from the walls like in laminate flooring as wood expands?

I'm half way through my NvQ Level 2 Plumbing qualification. To me gas is gas. Have just always wondered about this. Good to finally find out
