Hello, I have a very old kitchen extractor fan which I would like to replace. The current unit extracts via an air brick. It's ducted properly and it looks to have a 5" round to air brick converter on the inside of the wall (no gas in the kitchen and there are other vents). I would...

Hi there, My dishwasher (SGS43E02/GB) is acting a little strange. Most of the time, when I switch on, it goes though without any issues, however sometimes it stalls and the program light flashes with a clicking sound. I have looked at the display and the sound is coming from around the...

    Potterton Kingfisher RSL100 Lockouts

thank you Tony. One thing I have noticed is that the system does have air in it. I have tried to flush this into the rads to bleed it but should I be doing this with an open tap to feed the expansions tank? Could my problem be an overheat when a large air bubble goes through the system?

    Potterton Kingfisher RSL100 Lockouts

I did use thermal transfer paste and the pump is set to 2. The system runs using pumps rather than motor valves and at time of overheat, both the flow and return pipes are redhot. the presure gage on the pressure vessel is set to 1 1/2 which I was told was about right? thanks.

    Potterton Kingfisher RSL100 Lockouts

Hi there, The temp setting runs from 1 to 11. With the boiler set to 4, it overheats / locks out. Does this suggest the internal thermostate is faulty? thanks.

    Potterton Kingfisher RSL100 Lockouts

Thanks Tony for the quick response. The pump is whizzing and if I remove the screw, I can see the propeller spinning. If I change the setting (i to iii), the tone of the pump changes and the whole system becomes noiser as more water is pumped around. I'll search around for the FAQs to see if...

    Potterton Kingfisher RSL100 Lockouts

Tony, Thank you very much for the help. I've noticed the following: 1. The pipes coming from the boiler are red hot when the lockout occurs meaning the lockout is as a result of an overheat(?) 2. The lockout occurs during the afternoon cycle when the on-period is longer and the...

Thanks Tony. It is an MF and does have a PCB. Do you think it's likely to be the PCB with a fault?
