    1991 Ford Fiesta

Sounds like faulty thermostat switch not kicking the fan in when hot. Best get it sorted before weather warms up, not an expensive job. Check all hoses and water, also when hot have a look in engine bay for any signs of leakage in rad or cooling system.

    Am I being ripped off?

Why not challenge yourself and try and do it yourself? I would guess that materials would come to about £200, so it is worth doing. Most important thing is to make sure your posts are well concreted in (use postmix) and all angles are exact and levels true. From this the rails and...

    DAEWOO ESPIRO FRONT DISKS

To ensure the pads fit in with the new discs (i'm assuming you are changing the pads also?) you need to push the piston back in to its housing. behind one of the pads is a circular piston. you need to loosen the bleed nipple of the brake fluid, open the fluid filler cap in the engine bay too...

    DAEWOO ESPIRO FRONT DISKS

You mention discs and drums!!! I assume you mean discs and pads? In order to get the caliper (thing that squeezes the pads to the discs) off there are two hex bolts BEHIND the caliper. due to all the gunk that goes on under the wheel arch these can be rally tough to loosen. when you havee, let...

    Seatbelts on 1996 Corsa

It could be the socket thing it plugs into is not catching it, possibly due to a bit of debris in it, try plugging the passenger belt into the drivers socket (or vice versa), if that works then replace the broken socket, just a bolt on most cars.

Calling all painters & plasteres, can you help?

The raw material for all lime-based products is a natural stone: limestone, which is composed almost exclusively of calcium carbonate. » Chemical formula: CaCO3. You are getting confused with the shade of green which is similar to a lime fruit. Bit like **** brown being a shade of brown, but...

Is there any point to slot head screws, I find them a bugger to drive in with a power driver, even with the correct bit in the driver they always seem to slip out and gouge into the material I am driving into. Cross head are so much better so why don't they just make them? My girlfriend says...
