Putting decking on top of brick patio

Hi, I want to build some decking, we currently have patio bricks and ive got 100s of spare bricks. Can i simply build the frame on top and use spare bricks perhaps cemented in place as pillars/fixing points? Additionally i want to make it the same level ish as the house floor height, so will...

Newly laid turf (October 2017)in a sorry state...

Might be worth giving the guys at green thumb a shout. I nackered the grass at our old house and they recovered it and have used them ever since

    Side by side fencing

Any photos? Is there a recommended board? Just debating the cost difference between that or single planks of featheredge. Also, concerned that when the wood shrinks, gaps may appear unless treated wood would not cause this as much?

    Side by side fencing

Hi, thanks for taking the time to reply. From what i can see on images etc the closeboard still looks like on overlap, and many sites list it like that rather than seperate side by side panels? Ill try and get a different photo.

    Side by side fencing

Hi, i'm looking to do side by side fencing like the image attached. Is there a proper name for it, or just side by side? Also, what wood would be suitable, or what type of wood is in the image? Thanks http://i68.tinypic.com/2z8xj75.jpg

    Running services up garden

Hi, i need to run hot water, cold water and electric from my house to the top of my garden, guessing say 30 meters. I was going to get creative and run this via battons connected to a fence to merge with another project. I think this would work well and very little likelihood of damage but i...

    Weed/Grass/Plant barrier under fence

That would work fine except we only want wooden posts and wooden boards and to do away with / hide any concrete attributes

    Weed/Grass/Plant barrier under fence

I know it won't hurt it but it looks rubbish if weeds/plants etc come through the boards, I want to reduce it happening. I've got about 60 fence panels to do so ideally want it as fool proof as possible so I don't have to spend hours tidying it up as much.

    Weed/Grass/Plant barrier under fence

Hi, I'm not far from putting up a new fence (individual slats) and this will be very close or on the existing grass. I will be putting wooden (gravel) board and the fence on top. The problem I think I may have is grass/weeds/plants growing underneath or behind the fence. Is there anything I can...

Fence height on 2 different level gardens

quick further question, is the 2 meters inclusive of a gravel board (wooden or concrete) or is 2m the total height for whatever you do? I was planning on having a wooden board, then the fence on top, so may need to restrict the fence height if that is the case? Thanks

Fence height on 2 different level gardens

Thanks for the input. From the point of view of the neighbour who when they look at their fence will see my fence slightly raised, can they do anything to contest it, or are the laws the laws?

Fence height on 2 different level gardens

Hi, I'm trying to find some advice regarding fence height on a change I want to make on our fences in the back garden. I've tried to explain this as best as possible via image... hope that helps... Basically, the image is side on, and the side of our fence is our multiple neighbors rear...

Attaching featheredge boards infront of existing posts?

Hi, ive got a fairly largr garden with about 30-40 panels on each side, i want to put featheredge board infront of it because i want a seamless look ie not seeing posts between each panel. I thought the best way would be to fix this through to the concrete posts by drilling the posts but am...

    LED Lights not working

Basically, turned the light on, tested voltage, which was present, turned fuse off on board, killed lights, and voltage if that makes sense.
