Hi I recently took down an old porch from the front of my house (before it fell down), and now the wall around the door is covered in white paint and looks stupid! I have tried nitromorse and it won't look at it. What can I use to remove this paint from the stonework?

Hi Its me again with my kitchen light fittings. I have had a look at the switches and there are only 2 wires connected to each light switch a live and a com. I really want these switches to control both banks of lights rather than just 1 each is this going to be a big job?

So there is no need for additional wiring between the lights themselves, just the switches? Also, what is the significance of the red ape/sleeving?

Hi Thanks for that. I understand the three core wiring, did a similar thing on the stairway, but if I connect the second rose using the 2 & earth, what about the original wiring, I assume that the roses are connected under the floor upstairs, but I can't get to it so won't this live wires...
