what would you treat a wooden frame in a bathroom with? It will have aqua board on it which will be tiled. There is also a small amount of ply in the bathroom which wont have direct water on it and will be painted. What should I use to treat this? Thanks in advance

Looks to me like the seal has cracked in the middle. the gaps range from a couple of mm to about a centameter. seems there are cracks in both size gaps. im not sure what is meant by proper support? there are batons on the wall to support the bath but I guess its not flush against the bath...
