hi all can i get plasterboard without the need for skimming? i also want to blend in with existing embossed paper along side it. i would have thought the new plasterboard would have to be a bit thicker that the existing plasterboard to blend in as the existing has plaster already on it...

Hi all I need to sand down all the satinwood on the doors and skirt boards i believe as there chips on the architrave. I also need to paint the whole hallway & landing a new colour. Which order do I start preparing and paint? Would I also need to undercoat on the architrave to cover the small chips?

also just a thougt i have been filling quite a bit of extra water into the system, not sure how accurate the pressure gauge is will it do any damage to the boiler/CH? seen this Fernox F4 Express Central Heating Leak Sealer 265ml think ill get some tomorrow

right sorted out the weeping leak from the boiler, i thought that issue was fixed, still losing pressure i put it to 2 bar and after an hour or so using CH drops to just under 1 bar. so i still must have a leak somewhere. will i need bleed the rads at all? how does the leak solution work...

thanks for your replies guys upon looking at the boiler again i have a weeping leak underneath there is a bit of corrosion around a brass pressure gauge connection, im hoping this would be the cause of the pressure drop however would this be enough to drop the pressure from 2 and a bit bar...

Hi all new to this forum so be gentle i have a 8 year old Saunier Duval SD 30e (i believe its a rebadged Gloworm) combi boiler. a few years back i used to have a similar problem. in the morning we used to get HW then just cold water by the way CH works fine at all times. Brit Gas arrgh...
