I'm installing a second hand fully integrated slimline dishwasher in my kitchen. Is it sufficient to secure it only to the worktop, or should I attach it to the side of the cabinets it sits between as well?

Yes. There was some on the old sink that I've just taken out. I've managed to track some down in B&Q. It comes on a roll with some clips for securing the sink. Although some people seem to think that silicone sealant might do a better job.

I've got rid of the lino and given the floor a good scrub with bleach. Seems to have done the trick. Lack of ventilation and air flow is the least of my worries in a 200 year old cottage. More worrying is that the mould only formed along the join of the old floor and new extension floor.

I've discovered a lot of black mould between the concrete floor and lino in my kitchen. Obviously the lino will have to go, and I'll have to discover the cause of the problem, but what is the best product for removing the mould from the concrete.

Eventually did 3 coats with the first thinned by 20%. Looked OK with 2 coats, but the third made it look even better. Now I'm just waiting for the scaffolding to be removed so I can see the full effect. :)
