thanks dave, its the circular clock with loads of little pins you move to set the times. I just looked at it now and it has now completey stopped working, not eve ticking now! Can i litterally just pull the clock out or do i need to un screw the front pannel etc?

I have screeded over my bitumin emmulsion damp proof paint with 50mm of sand cement screed. I intend on pouring a levelling screed soon just prior to carpetting, the 50mm of screed will help protect the bitumin as well. Did you pain the stuff on up your walls as well?
